A pack of 2 stencils for Sashiko hand stitching, the visible mending technique. Every stencil comes with a tips sheet to help you get the most from your chosen design.
These 2 designs will help you learn the basics of Sashiko stitching. They are designed to be sewn with a simple running stitch up and down, then left to right to create the design, Sashiko style. Simply follow each stitch mark, see images.
To apply the design to your fabric use a heat erasable pen to draw the lines, or heat erasable cream for quicker application. Just iron to remove marks when finished. Our stencils are reusable, durable, washable and easy to store.
Each stencil is supplied on a sturdy sheet 13 x 13cm. The stencils can be repeated to cover any space required for your project. Images show how the design can be used in different ways. Combine with our other Sashiko stencils to create intricate designs.
